Current Information Covid-19: Currently no restrictions at DB Cargo Eurasia Service
Dear Sir or Madam,
We would like to give you a short update on the operational situation and the service at DB Cargo Eurasia regarding the effects of the coronavirus in Europe:
At present, no DB Cargo Eurasia transports are affected.
We as DB Cargo Eurasia are continuing to provide a secure interface for your shipments between countries on the Eurasian Corridor. All our traffic can be driven without restrictions on a stable basis. Our container trains are stable and uninterrupted. Both China and the EU border crossing points are maintained in regular operation mode. European Terminals in Malaszewicze, Duisburg, Hamburg, Nurnberg etc. are maintaining operational processes. There are no rail freight restrictions announced and we are continuing to offer the scheduled weekly departure.
Our teams in Berlin, Malaszewicze, Moscow and Shanghai are still working for you 24/7. Our teams in Berlin and Moscow are currently working in home office as a safety measure but we are always on your disposal by e-mail, phone, or Video-Call. We are engaging a big effort to provide our usual service.
In conference calls and working groups which take place several times a day we are constantly exchanging information internally on the current situation and monitoring developments at local, national and international level, in order to secure our operations in the network and the international corridors. We will keep you updated, if changes occur.
DBCE sincere gratitude to all the clients and partners for unreserved cooperation and wishes good health to everyone, so we could all successfully move forward with our common Eurasian initiatives.
We are looking forward to support your business the best possible way in this extraordinary situation.
Your DB Cargo Eurasia Team
