DB Cargo has been operating on the Eurasian corridor since 2008 and has been offering regular train connections between China and Europe since 2011. As an operator and service provider on this corridor, DB Cargo Eurasia, together with our subsidiary DB Cargo Transasia, forms an important part of the network connecting the eastern external border of the EU with China. These transcontinental connections offer customers competitive, sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives to time-consuming sea freight and costly air transport.
